I’ve got some more Love Knot War goodness for your today! Also from their recent AW19 Black Label release, are these stunning Nostalgia Pants. I’ll be honest, I don’t wear pants a lot, in fact I don’t actually own any pants except for jeans or activewear tights! I find most dress pants really hard to find a good fit as I’m quite small so most dress pants or wider leg styles just swamp my frame.
These ones from Love Knot War are an absolute perfect fit and are such a flattering style, even on a more petite frame. They are slightly cropped, so finish just nicely above my ankles. They are a beautiful fit through the legs and hips, and I love the practicality of an elasticated waist.
The waist is done beautifully, with ruffles hiding the elastic, and a double tie belt, which means tops look beautiful tucked in. These pants are so easy to style and are incredibly versatile. Pair them with a shirt and heels for a more dressy, work-appropriate look, or dress down with a printed tee and sneakers.
In the photos below, I’ve showed you how to wear them two ways – I’ve paired mine with the Pink Ruby Shirt, and also the LKW tee. They really are super versatile!
Fit tips: I have the Nostalgia Pants in a size 6 and they fit perfectly around the waist and they are the perfect cropped length for me. I am 163cm and usually a size 6 for reference. If you are really tall, I’d recommend sizing up. They do have the elastic waistband and a tie so even if you size up, they should still fit. I’m also a size 6 in the tee and it runs true to size, and a 6 in the Pink Ruby Shirt – I’d size up in this one if you have a larger bust or are broader through the back.
