One of my goals for the remainder of this year is to get back into regular fitness and workouts. Over the past few months I’ve discovered a love for boxing (who’d have guessed?!) and discovered it’s such a great way to keep fit. I’m also loving my stretching and yoga too, as well as walking. Since my fitness varies so much, it can be hard to find activewear that covers all of these different types of workouts! It’s gotta be comfy, fully squat proof, and has to allow me to move and stretch.
Recently I was given the opportunity to try out workout wear from Sweat Republic, which is the activewear brand from Augustine by Kelly Coe. Augustine is a well-known brand here in NZ, and Kelly has a number of different labels and price points. Sweat Republic is her first foray into activewear and I have to say I was super impressed by the range. She’s really made active wear fun with lots of different styles in a range of prints and patterns. Most of the range is brightly coloured which is such a nice change from the typical black and darker shades!
I chose the Denimator Set which has the Leggings and Crop. I love the navy base of these and the bright pops of orange and pink are just so fun! It’s almost a little retro which I love, and definitely eye catching! The Denimator Leggings are full length and feature angular colour blocking with the Sweat Republic logo on the right leg.
The Denimator Crop is super cute and I love how it looks like two tops in one. You have the hot pink underlay, with the navy blue over the top with a bright orange band. This crop is a longer style crop which I love, and it also offers some light padding. It’s a pull on style and it’s so so comfy! I often find sports bras either dig in or get really uncomfortable during the day, but this one I can literally wear all day. Its awesome!
As well as this cute set, I’ve also been loving the Sweat Republic Drink Bottle. These are 500ml stainless steel bottles, with a gorgeous floral wrap. I love stainless steel bottles as they are not only super easy to keep clean, but they keep your drinks cooler for longer too. The fact that this is a generous 500ml size is also a bonus!

Fit tips: I wear a size 6 and I went with an XS in both the Crop and the Leggings and both fit great. Potentially I could have gone an XXS in the Leggings as they are quite stretchy, so if you are in between sizes, I’d recommend sizing down. I am 163 cm tall and the Leggings are definitely full length on me. If anything they are ever so slightly long by a cm or two, but once on you can’t really tell – short girl problems!
