I thought it was about time I posted about one of my current favourite bags. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll see that I wear this one A LOT, and lately it’s been the one I reach for as my daily bag. It’s called the Take Me Anywhere Bag from Outershell and it really can be taken anywhere! It’s a great size for a small bag, and surprisingly it can fit a lot more than you’d think!
This bag is an absolute steal for the price as it’s leather! At $59, it’s excellent value! I’ve been using this bag nearly every day for over 6 months now and it still looks in new condition. There’s no sign of wear, even though I wouldn’t say I’m gentle with my bags!
STYLE
This is a classic camera bag style which is super popular right now! These type of bags are so versatile as they work so well for everyday bags as well as a going out bag. In a black leather like this you really can’t go wrong! I love the gunmetal hardware (I have a thing for gunmetal on bags!) as it goes with anything no matter what metal you prefer, and the silver Outershell logo on the front of the bag is a pretty touch. Inside you’ll find a small inner pocket with a zip which is perfect for keeping Panadol or sanitary items.
The strap is a combo of chain and leather which I love. The chain makes it a bit more edgy and different, and it changes to leather for the top part of the strap. This makes it far more comfy as I hate full chains as they dig into your shoulder! The strap is also removable, so this bag can change into a clutch too. The other cool thing is that Outershell also sell extra bag straps in all different colours and patterns so you can customise your bag!
SIZE
This bag looks small but fits way more than you think due to it’s practical design! It’s enough for my every day essentials and it means I don’t end up carrying around more than I need (bonus!) Here’s what fits in:
- Small wallet or cardholder
- Keys
- iPhone 11
- Small perfume roller
- Lipbalm
- 2x face masks
- Small hand sanitiser
- Asthma inhaler
- Thin packet of baby wipes
I usually have a pack of wipes in my bag for when I’m out with Jack, but if I don’t take these, I fit a pair of sunglasses in here too!

Overall, this bag is a firm fave and I highly recommend it if you are wanting a new compact bag that will still fit the daily essentials. It’s beautiful, hard wearing and affordable and ticks all of the boxes for me! Outershell Clothing also do the Bestie Bag which is super cute, and I have my fingers crossed maybe they might extend this bag range out to larger bags/totes as I’d be all for that!
