Over the past month, I’ve been trying out the range of lip balms from Kiwi brand Yes Organics. As you guys know I try to use natural beauty products where possible, and one thing I’m always definite about being natural is my lip balm. The balms from Yes Organics are made from 100% natural & certified organic butters and oils to help nourish, protect, and moisturise your lips. They’ve also won over 37 awards for their formulas, making them some of the most awarded lip balms in the world!
Both Jack and I have been using these over the last month. Jack gets quite cracked and chapped lips in winter so I use a lip balm on him a couple of times a day to help combat this. Again, it’s nice to know the product I’m using on my 4 year old is natural! He loves the Coconut & Vanilla flavour the best.
As for my favourite? I love the Pinkalicious Tinted Lip Balm. It’s a gently tinted balm that’s a cross between a balm and a lipstick. Now I’m not a lipstick person at all, so I love a good tinted lip balm for a little pop of colour. This one is beautiful and it’s a really subtle pink that would suit all skin tones. As well as a hint of colour you also get all the goodness from a lip balm. I also love Lemonade which is Lemon & Lime, and is such an uplifting and refreshing scent!
What I also love about Yes Organics Lip Balm is how they package their products with the environment in mind. They use FDA approved, BPA-free, non-toxic food grade #5 tubes, and their boxes are made from cardboard.
If you suffer from cold sores, then Yes Organics also have a specific balm dedicated to preventing these. Their Prevent & Heal formula is designed to help prevent the occurrence of cold sores, while moisturising your lips during outbreaks. While neither Jack or I get coldsores, this is a good option for those that do and the balm has great reviews (of course you can also use this balm anytime!)
We’ve been really loving the Yes Organics Lip Balm, and I think I might have found a new favourite. With so many scents to choose from, there’s really something for everyone (and make sure you give the tinted balm a try – especially if you aren’t a lipstick lover like me!)
