Okay boho lovers, you are in for a treat this Summer with Salty Crush…. their Summer line is just a dream! While I’m typically a neutrals kind of girl, I have to say I love playing with colour, especially in the warmer months, so when I saw these two dresses at Salty Crush, I knew I needed them in my Summer wardrobe. They arrived just before I headed off for my holiday to Tekapo, so I decided to take them with me and shoot them at some of the most beautiful locations in the South Island.

The first dress is the Ivete Mini Dress and if this isn’t the most perfect dress to wear when dancing through a lupin field, then I don’t know what is? This dress is literally the Barbie dress of my dreams, and something completely different to what I normally wear (which I love, gotta get out of those comfort zones!). The bright pink makes me all kinds of happy, and the tiered layers of this dress give it beautiful movement and shape. The spaghetti straps are adjustable (a must IMO) and the length hits just above the knee. I know I’ll be wearing this one a lot in Summer and love how cute it looks when paired with a faded denim jacket for that ultimate city girl in the country kinda vibe.

Next up we have the Olly Mykonos Dress which is the perfect midi dress for those long Summer days and warm evenings. Again, it’s an easy dress to dress up or down depending on how you accessorise. I love it paired with a tan fedora and a denim jacket for the ultimate laid back boho style. You could also throw on a pair of heels, and jewellery and wear this to a Summer event, day at the races, or even to a beach wedding.
