Lately I’ve really been enjoying bringing you all outfit of the day style posts. I’ve always really been into fashion and I’m a self-confessed shopaholic who loves a good bargain. I know I have way more clothes than a girl ever needs but fashion is something I enjoy so much. Shooting these OOTD photos has been so much fun, and I’m so thankful for my amazing boyfriend who is always more than happy to head out on a mission to take these photos. There are so many beautiful locations in Dunedin to take photos, and one of these is up at the look out at Mornington Park. It has to be one of the best places to look out across Dunedin, and on nights where there are fireworks displays, this place is packed!
Many of my tops I used to own were black, so over the past few months I’ve really been making an effort to bring lighter colours into my wardrobe. Now I’m not really one for bright colours, I love soft shades like blush, pale blue, soft grey and white. When I spotted this tunic top in Just Jeans I knew it was absolutely perfect to pair with blue or black denim! This top has a pretty embroidered detail at the top and the fabric is lovely and light, which makes it perfect for warmer days or for layering. The only slight issue with this top is that it crinkles like crazy! It had been ironed before I wore it out to take these pictures and you can already see the creases through the front of it just from wearing it. 😂 I usually avoid fabric like this (as I am lazy and do not like to iron), but this top was just too pretty to pass up!
This hat from The Warehouse has also become a firm favourite, and I was hoping for some nicer days to wear it, but I think I’ll just wear it any way! I love hats as they really change up an outfit, and they are super practical too! I can see myself wearing this long into Autumn and Winter
