My new favourite purchase is again, surprise surprise, from Kmart. I swear they sell some absolute gems there, and no this post is not sponsored and yes, I bought this with my own money. They just have some pretty cool appliances at a fraction of the cost of other places.
I’ve always wanted an aroma diffuser. I love burning different scents throughout the year, but the one thing I’m always a bit wary of is having candles burning, especially when I’m in another room. An electric diffuser means I can just pop it on and let it go, and I don’t feel like I have to keep an eye on it. Plus I still get the gorgeous smell wafting through my home. Another bonus to electric diffusers over candles, is that you can make your own custom scents by blending your favourite essential oils.
Most aroma diffusers I found sold for upwards of $70, whereas the Kmart Aroma Diffuser retails for $22 which is an absolute steal. While it’s not quite as stylish as some of the more expensive diffusers, it still looks the part and is roughly the same size. It comes with four timer settings, ranging from 30 minutes to 180 minutes, so you just choose your desired time and it will shut off automatically once the timer is up. It also has a light function which allows the top of the diffuser to light up which gives a lovely ambience, especially at night.
It’s very quiet and all you can hear is the gentle sounds of the water bubbling. It gives off a lovely soft mist which is quite pretty to watch, although probably doesn’t offer as much mist as other diffusers do. What I love about this diffuser is that it comes with a power cord which plugs directly into the wall. Kmart do offer another USB diffuser at $18, and while I haven’t tried that one, I just feel the wall powered one would be better. The cord is also quite long, making it easy to pop somewhere while it’s plugged in.
I have used the Eco Aroma Sleep Blend in my diffuser, which is designed to help relax you and create a welcoming environment for sleep. This smells absolutely incredible, and always leaves me feeling very calm. You can buy it here.
I struggled to get one at my local Kmart store as they were continually sold out, so I ended up ordering mine online. Postage is only $6 which is pretty good as it had arrived in a couple of days.
Hi hunny, just be really careful with what you’re burning, most and I mean most essential oils are toxic for preggy ladies… xxx speak tomorrow hopefully. Xxx

Hi Jan, yes I’m definitely being very careful. The Sleep blend that I often burn is considered safe for use during pregnancy, as it only contains essential oils that are deemed safe for the 2nd and 3rd trimesters. x
