I have some gorgeous new clothes to share with you today. I’ve written about Outershell Clothing on here quite a bit now, and if you follow me on Instagram, you will have seen their clothes pop up all over my feed. This NZ brand is hands down, one of my favourite – their clothes are great quality, hardwearing and wash well. They are also super flattering and stylish, and they are styled in a way that’s practical for mums. They can be styled up or down, which makes them super versatile and some of my most worn pieces. They also offer a range of maternity clothing too!
Outershell have launched an exciting Autumn/Winter collection, with a range of dresses and long sleeved tops, so I thought I’d share a few of the items from the new collection!
First up, lets talk long sleeved tops. I bought a couple of long sleeved tops from Outershell well over a year ago, and they quickly became my all time favourites. They have been worn at least once or twice a week EVERY WEEK, washed once or twice a week EVERY WEEK, and still look brand new. They have survived food spills, toddler slobber, and the occasional poopy accident, and have always washed up well and haven’t stretched. They are hands down the best quality long sleeve tops I’ve worn.
The first style I wanted to share is the Sandy Stripe Top, which is a gorgeous sandy beige with a navy stripe. This is a lovely length, slightly longer at the back which makes it perfect for pairing with leggings. These long sleeve tees also look great paired with jeans, or skirts or shorts in the warmer months. This one comes in a size 6-16 and runs true to size. I am a size 6 and it fits perfectly. This one also comes in a maternity style with flap access.
The second top is the Jade Top and when I shared this on my Instagram Stories, I got so many messages and comments about this one! It’s probably one of my favourite prints ever, and I love the stripe and floral combo. This one has a soft grey base with a navy stripe, and then a beautiful pastel floral on the sleeves. This one is a very similar cut/style to the Sandy Stripe top and has the same generous length at the back and a flattering fitted cut. This one also comes in a size 6-16 and I am wearing the size 6 again. This one comes in a maternity style with a double ended zip access.
Now on to the dresses, the first is the Ella Dress – a gorgeous short sleeved style which is one of my all time favourite dresses! It’s a white and soft grey stripe, with pastel floral sleeves and back. This dress is literally my dream combo! I love the colours, the style, the fit, the length – everything! This one is a fitted fit and I feel like it’s super flattering. It also ends nicely at the knee, making it the perfect length (especially for mums of toddlers!) I’m wearing a 6 in this style and it’s the perfect fit and true to size. This one comes in size 6-16 and is also available in a maternity version with a flap access.
The second dress is the Poppy Dress, a gorgeous long sleeve style that’s perfect for winter! This one has a black and white striped front, solid black back, and a beautiful white and pink floral sleeve. This is such a fun dress, that just makes you feel good when you put it on. It’s a flattering, fitted cut, that stops at the knee. This one comes in size 8-16, and I am wearing an 8 which fits me perfectly. This one doesn’t have a maternity option, but you could size up to accommodate a bump!

Fit tips: I’m generally a size 6 in Outershell Clothing, or size 8 in some dresses. I find their clothes are all very true to size, so go with your normal unless you prefer an oversized fit. Shelley includes great sizing info on all of the clothes on the website too! For reference, I am 163cm tall, which will give you an idea to where to dresses sit lengthwise.
