I tried a Paintvine class

Quite a few weeks back now, myself and a friend were invited by the Paintvine team to go and try one of their Dunedin Paintvine classes. If you’ve never heard of Paintvine, it’s a fun evening event where you go along a learn how to paint a picture while enjoying drinks and nibbles if you wish. All of the painting equipment is included and they take you through every step of the way so even if you are a total novice like me, you still create a beautiful painting!

We did the first ever New Zealand Pop Art class which was so much fun! We created these gorgeous Wonder Woman paintings, and I’m super proud of how mine turned out! In fact, we loved the experience so much that we actually booked tickets for the next session which was a Glow in the Dark painting. We got to craft our masterpieces under a blacklight so everything glowed – it was a totally different experience to our Pop Art painting class, but so much fun!

Paintvine then kindly sent me one of their new canvas frames so I could easily frame and hang my masterpiece at home. The kit was so easy to use (the frame is already made) and within about 5 minutes, my Wonder Woman picture looked professionally framed. These frames fit all the canvases used in the Paintvine classes and can be added on when you book your ticket online.

I absolutely loved Paintvine and so did my friend. It’s such a great evening out and full of laughs. The best bit is it’s all about having fun – there’s no pressure to create exactly the same picture if you don’t want to. It’s a chance to express your creativity, and I loved that!
