It’s a Spring Baby!

Okay I’m a bit late to the party with sharing this news on here, but we are expecting baby number 2 in Spring! If you are following me on Instagram, then you’ve likely already seen this news (and if you aren’t then click here to do so!)

We are so incredibly excited to welcome the little one in a couple of months, and Jack is so excited to be a big brother!

So far pregnancy has gone really well. The first trimester was a bit hard as I felt very nauseous most days and so incredibly tired. Of course, it’s a lot harder the second time around as you have another child to care for, so there’s not that same chance to rest and relax! I’m now coming up hot on the third trimester and my energy has thankfully returned, so I’m feeling a lot more up to things like reformer pilates, walking and yoga (which all went bye bye in the first trimester along with my low-sugar diet! 😅)

I feel so much more calm this pregnancy and I think a big part of that comes down to my mindset and a lot of the self regulation techniques I’ve learned over the years. I feel like this is going to make a massive difference going into the birth! Having no complications helps too, I am low risk this time (even after my previous c-section) and so far everything is on track for a natural birth (still in the hospital just in case). Like I say, so much more empowered and calm this time!!

We are well over half way now so only a couple of months left! While this blog won’t turn into a baby/pregnancy blog, I’ll be sharing the odd update and any amazing products etc that I find that will help other mamas too!
