The new Outershell Clothing drop is here, and Shelley was so kind to send me all their new items to share with you guys. Outershell Clothing has quickly became a favourite brand of mine with it’s stylish yet #mumlife proof clothes. Whether you are a mum or not, you will appreciate how easy to mix and match these items are, and the quality of the items. Everything is hard wearing and easy to clean, which is my kind of clothing!

The first item we have is the Tash Top. This comes in two colours, olive and pink and I actually can’t decide which one I prefer as both are so pretty! These are a chiffon-feel fabric that sits beautifully on the body. The tops are a generous length and can be worn either out or tucked in. I love a classic half tuck like what I’m wearing in these photos.
The sleeves have a gorgeous feminine ruffle on the end which I love. I feel like these tops are really versatile as you can really dress them up or down. They would be just as perfect for the office as they would be for date night or a mums catch up.
While they are a beautiful summer style, they are perfect for the transitional seasons too! On a cooler day, simply add a nude coloured tank underneath and a denim jacket for a little extra warmth! This style comes in sizes 8-16.
The Lillah Skirt is another classic piece that literally goes with everything. This super comfy skirt is made from a cotton/spandex blend, meaning it wears and washes well. It has an elasticated waist with a tie and comes to just about knee length – so it’s not too short or too long. It also has pockets- nice deep pockets that fit an iPhone 11 comfortably! 🙌🏻
This skirt looks super cute paired with the Tash Top, and also looks gorgeous paired with shirts, blouses, tees, long sleeved tees – you name it! It’s just a great basic piece to have in your wardrobe that you know you can throw on with anything and its going to look good. This one comes in sizes 8-18.
The final piece is the Kimmy Kimono. I love kimonos, they are so pretty and easy to throw on as an extra layer in the summer. They are also lightweight and easy to pop in your bag and take with you if your heading out for the day. Bonus, they also offer a wee bit of sun protection without being too hot!
The Kimmy Kimono is a beautiful soft pink with a pretty floral pattern. It’s a similar fabric to the Tash Top – nice and light and floaty, and you almost forget you are wearing it! It can be styled in so many ways, so I’ll be putting up a seperate post with some ideas on how to wear this one. At only $49 its also much more affordable than many other kimonos I’ve seen! This one comes in two sizes XS/S (6-10) and M/L (12-16)

Fit tips: In the Tash Top I am wearing a size 8 and this is TTS. In the Lillah skirt I am wearing a size 8 and it is also TTS. If you were really tall, maybe size up if you wanted a little more length (all the measurements are on the website). In the Kimmy Kimono I’m wearing a size XS/S which is a 6-10 and this is also TTS.
For reference I am 163cm (5’3″ tall) and usually a size 6-8.
