Okay, so I’ve been meaning to put this post up for a while, and since I wrote this one, Antipodes have actually sent me three more lipsticks which I’ll be sharing with you very soon! These three lipsticks are part of the Antipodes Moisture Boost Lipstick range, and these shades are their “winter” shades.
As I mentioned in my first Antipodes Moisture Boost Lipsticks post, the reason I love these so much as they are completely clean, made from no nasty chemicals, and are perfectly safe to ingest….all while not compromising on pigmentation or formula.
Queenstown Hot Chocolate: When I first swatched these lipsticks in Farmers, I fell in love with this shade instantly…. and I may have squealed a little when I realised this was one of the shades they sent me. It’s the perfect pinky nude – not too brown, and not too subtle. Personally I love shades like this as they go with pretty much every outfit and makeup look, and this colour looks good on everyone. It’s one of those shades that’s perfect to keep in your bag, and it can be applied without too much fuss.
Piha Beach Tangerine: This warm orange shade is super fun and something totally different to what I normally wear, but I really love how it looks on me as it makes blue eyes POP!. It gives me total Winter vibes and I seriously love how pigmented this one is. This vibrant colour appears after only one stroke and as it fades throughout the day it leaves a pretty stain on the lips.
[shopr_shopthepost collection=”antipodes-healthy-lipsticks” size=”medium”]Remarkably Red: By now you probably know I’m not much a of a red lipstick kinda gal, but I was plesantly surprised to see that this shade was more of a pink berry red rather than a true red. It’s also a little more subdued than most other reds, and I feel this makes it more wearable for someone like me who prefers toned down shades. This for me is the ultimate winter red, and I’m definitely getting my use of this one in these cooler months!
Please note: These products were sent to me by Antipodes. These views are my personal opinion and are no way influenced by others. I always provide an honest opinion, so you all know which products are worth purchasing
I think the brown would look pretty on you for super casual days – like popping down to the shops or something. The red would look good on you as an everyday, put-together lipstick and the orange would look good on you for when you want to look special – like on holiday, going to restaurants, when you’re taking lots of photos or other special occasions! They’re all really pretty though!
