Earlier in the year, Antipodes released a range of 12 stunning Moisture Boost Natural Lipsticks, and at the start of each season they have sent me three season appropriate shades from the range. If you missed my Fall and Winter lipstick posts, then be sure to check them out here and here. Today I’m sharing the Antipodes Moisture Boost Lipsticks that are perfect for the Spring months – West Coast Sunset, Boom Rock Bronze and Ruby Bay Rouge .
Of course, all of these Antipodes Moisture Boost Lipsticks are 100% natural and are made from ingredients meaning you could actually eat them (although of course this isn’t recommended!). To me, a healthy lipstick is so important as it is the one makeup product that actually gets ingested into your body….. and over her lifetime, an average female will consume close to 3kg of lipstick….
If you want to find out more about what these lipsticks are made from, then you can read my first post here
[shopr_shopthepost collection=”antipodes-healthy-lipsticks” size=”medium”]All these three colours are shades that would work perfectly for both day and night wear. They are all semi-matte shades, with just the slightest hint of a shine to them, which makes the lips look healthy and full. These Antipodes Moisture Boost Lipsticks are so easy to apply with the rounded bullet. They are also super hydrating on the lips (thanks to ingredients such as Evening Primrose and avocado oils!).
West Coast Sunset: This beautiful orange toned red is my kind of red. As you may know, red lipstick isn’t really my thing, but as soon as I put this lipstick on, I was thrilled with how it looks on me. This lipstick is super pigmented and you only need a small amount for a beautiful bright long wearing colour.
Boom Rock Bronze: Can you guess that this is my favourite of the three? I absolutely love neutral toned lippys, and the moment I opened this one, I knew it would be a firm favourite. This bronze-toned nude, is such a beautiful colour that just screams summer. This one has more of a shiny finish then the other two, and Antipodes’ description of “light capturing bronze” sums it up perfectly.
Ruby Bay Rouge: While I generally don’t like blue based red lipstick on myself, even I can appreciate how pretty this colour is. I feel like it is almost a natural dupe for MAC’s Russian Red, which is one of the most popular red MAC lipsticks. This is what I would consider to be a true red or “Hollywood” red, and it is one of those shades that is a must have in anyones lipstick collection.
Fantastic post Lilly, you look good in all of them! Thanks for sharing. #lovenaturallipsticks #lovenatural
