A couple of months ago I came across the brand Love Knot War and immediately fell in love with their gorgeous clothing. As my style has changed over the past while, I’m drawn to clothes that are versatile. Pieces that can be worn in many ways and can be either dressed up or down, and I feel that Love Knot War really nails this criteria. They have a huge selection of pieces from dresses and tops, to cardi’s, kimonos, and pants and they even have matching pieces for your mini me too!
What I love most about the Love Knot War brand is that most of their clothing is designed AND made in New Zealand. There aren’t many brands who actually make their clothes here, especially ones on the more affordable end on things. While I want to support locally designed or made brands, the truth is I can’t afford to buy pieces at $300-$400 each, especially with a family to consider, so Love Knot War is a local, yet more affordable option.
One of my favourite Love Knot War pieces, is this beautiful Pink Ruby Shirt from their LKW Black Label Collection. Made from a light polyester, it hangs beautifully and doesn’t need ironed. It’s one of those pieces that can be paired with so many things; darker denim, work pants, or skirts for a more dressy look, or lighter denim or cut off shorts for a more casual look. It can be worn loose, tucked in, or even tied at the bottom. It’s a really versatile piece, and I am all about versatile pieces as a mum! I even wore a light coloured tank under it the other day for a little bit of extra warmth for the cooler months, and it layers well with jackets or blazers.

Fit notes: I am a size 6 in the shirt, and it fits slightly on the smaller side. If you are inbetween sizes or are larger through the bust or back, then look to size up.
