Brr, winter is definitely here, and I’ll be honest, this year I am really not prepared for it! I’ve always been a winter baby, but this year I’m finding the cold so hard to handle and am missing summer like crazy! One thing I do love is my snuggly winter clothing, and I shared a few of my favourite items in this post.
I was pretty excited to see Outershell Clothing launch their new pants and hoodies for winter. You all know how much I love this brand, and Shelley kindly sent me a couple of the new hoodies and a pair of the v. gorgeous Penny pants. I did a wee try on over on my Instagram (you can find it saved in the “Outershell Try On” highlight, and also thought I’d share here too with sizing and fit info.
The new range includes three hoodies and a pair of pants and there are mini version of the hoodies too so you can match with your child! The two hoodies I received are the Blakely Hoodie, a beautiful soft grey top with a white spot and a coloured hood and cords. It has a very cool zip detail near the neck, and it also has pockets – win!
This hoodie comes in two colours – soft blue and a peachy pink. I honestly can’t decide which one I like better, they are both so pretty! The style of these is very flattering, they are cut beautifully and sit nicely just below the hip. They are also true to size, so size up if you prefer a more oversized look. This one comes in a size 8-16 and I am wearing the 8 and it’s a perfect fit. I can also layer a long sleeve underneath too if needed!
These pants are quite possibly my favourite pants ever! They are the Penny pant and come in a black with floral pockets. I love this floral print so much, it’s so vibrant and pretty! These pants are super flattering, cut nicely through the bum, and are a slim fit through the leg. They are also a really nice length. I am 163cm tall, and I find buying trackpants and pants so hard as they are always way too long and end up bunching at the ankles. These are literally THE perfect length, and there is no bunching at all! I am wearing a size 8, and while I’m usually a size 6 in pants, these fit perfectly thanks to the elastic waistband.
In these photos, I’ve paired my Penny Pants with my Outershell Logo tee (which is one of my faves, and SUCH good quality!).
I honestly can’t rave about these pants enough and if you need a pair of comfy but still stylish pants, then you can’t go past these. They come in a size 8-16 and are true to size.
