The Best Snuggly Cardigans For Winter And Beyond!

The Best Cardigans for Winter

This winter I have been an absolute sucker for knitwear! It’s actually been warmer than normal this year, but I feel freezing 99% of the time, so have spent pretty much the entire season wearing snuggly knits. While I’ve already shared the jumper that I’m currently loving, I thought I would also do a quick round up of my favourite cardigans for winter too. All of these are from my faves at Salty Crush, so are easy to order with quick and free* delivery! Plus feel free to use my code SARAHLILLY10 for $$ off your purchase.

The Maple Cardi has been in my wardrobe since last winter and it’s one of Salty Crush’s most popular styles (and it’s easy to see why!) With a chunky knit, and oversized style and a hood, it’s one of those cardigans that goes with pretty much anything – jeans, dresses, skirts, shorts, you name it. It’s also very easy to style up or down. This one comes in about four colours now, and I have the Cream colour way. I’ve done a full post about this one here if you’d like to know more about how I style it and the fit of this one.

The Kennedy Cardigan is quite possibly my favourite cardigan in my wardrobe right now. It’s a wool and acrylic blend and it is honestly so so soft and comfortable to wear! This cardi is a lot longer than most cardigans that I wear, and to be honest I was hoping that it would suit me since I am on the shorter side – and I really really love how it looks!! At 5’3″ I’m proof that short girls can 100% wear long cardis! Long coat style cardigans (or coatigans) are really on trend right now, and in this soft brown colour, you’ll find yourself wearing it again and again. I love to style mine with my leather look pants or black skinnies, and it would also look gorgeous with a dress too.

The Pasadena Cardigan is another one that’s been in my wardrobe for a while. In fact, I think I got this one around 2 or 3 years ago! It’s such a classic and well-loved style, that Salty Crush keep bringing it back. This is the ultimate boho cardigan really, with the geometric print border and the tassel fringe! Again, it’s a really easy cardigan to style and it goes well with jeans, dresses or skirts. It’s a lighter weight, so brilliant for the transitional seasons or can be layered up in the cooler months. I’m loving mine layered with a merino in winter and paired with my black cowboy boots and a fedora.
