Lily Lolo Natural Makeup Must-Haves!

The Best of Lily Lolo Makeup

One of my favourite natural makeup brands is now available at HealthPost! Lily Lolo is a brand that I’ve used right from the start of my natural makeup journey, but it’s only now I’ve realised I haven’t talked about this brand on here much at all, so it’s time to remedy this and give this brand the recognition it deserves!

Lily Lolo is a British natural beauty brand specialising in mineral makeup. Their formulas are free from all of the common nasties, and they are also cruelty-free. This makes them an excellant choice for anyone who is interested in natural beauty, and wants to make an ethical and affordable choice!

Today I thought I’d share a few of my ‘must-haves’ from this brand!

SCULPT & GLOW CONTOUR DUO

It’s so secret I love my highlighters, and after mascara, highlighter is my next most-used makeup product. And the highlighter in this Sculpt & Glow Duo is killer. It’s literally the perfect highlighter – can be applied lightly for that natural lit-from-within glow, or really packed on for a stunning nighttime look. It’s a gorgeous soft golden highlight that blends into the skin easily, and I think this shade would be beautiful on a number of skin tones.

In terms of the contour, I’m not sure I’d really consider this a contour shade per se, but more of a bronzer. It’s quite a bronzy tone, which on my fair skin is a bit too red/gold to be a true contour. However it does work beautifully as a matte bronzer, and it blends out into the skin well. For someone with a medium/tan skin tone, this would probably be the perfect colour for a contour, and I know it certainly works better for me when I do have a tan. I do highly rate this duo however, and use this one on the regular.

CORALISTA CHEEK DUO

This blush and highlight duo is another one of my all-time favourite makeup products. Both of these products are beautiful and offer a gorgeous and natural glow to the skin. The blush is a stunning matte coral pink, and is quite highly pigmented for a natural blush. It is easily buildable and provides a gorgeous and natural flush. The highlighter is a stunning champagne gold, which would work well on a number of skin tones. Like the highlighter in the Scuplt & Glow Duo, it can be worn lightly for a subtle glow or layered up for an intense highlight.

BURST YOUR BUBBLE BLUSH

This is quite possibly my favourite blush shade ever, and is my everyday go-to shade! It’s the perfect pop of pink to add a natural flush to your cheeks, and would suit a large range of skin tones. It is a buildable formula, and it blends out on to the skin so easily, making it looks effortless and natural. Lily Lolo have a range of other colours, but this is my personal favourite!

NATURAL MASCARA

The Lily Lolo Natural Mascara was my favourite mascara for the longest time there. It’s such an easy to apply, long wearing formulation, the doesn’t flake or smudge easily. The formula of this mascara is really good, and it offers length and definition. It doesn’t clump (my pet peeve), and is on the more affordable side for a completely natural mascara. I love this mascara, and switch between this one and the Living Nature Mascara as my favourites.

LIPSTICK

I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge lipstick wearer. I prefer nude and pink toned lipstick, and even then I don’t really wear it all that often. When it comes to lipstick, I do have two brands I love Antipodes and Lily Lolo. I have the Lily Lolo lippy in the shade Nude Allure and it’s my “my lips but better” shade that I reach for most of the time. All of the Lily Lolo lippys are completely natural and are all extremely wearable everyday shades. The formulas are beautiful and easy to apply – even for the absolute beginner!

EYESHADOW PALETTE

If you like a natural toned eyeshadow palette, this this one from Lily Lolo is probably for you. All the shades are super wearable and are easy to blend out. They do have a few different colour options, but my two all time favourites are Pedal to the Metal and Laid Bare as they are just so versatile. If you are a makeup beginner or simply want an all around natural eyeshadow palette, you honestly can’t go past these ones!
