How I Style Aviator Sunglasses

How I Style Aviator Sunglasses with optically.co.nz

No matter what time of the year it is, you’ll find me wearing a pair of sunglasses. They are, hands down, my favourite accessory. Since I am short-sighted (meaning I need glasses for seeing in the distance), I prefer to opt for prescription sunglasses. These make life so much easier when it comes to driving and heading out and about for the day!

Optically.co.nz sent me a pair of glasses for this post, and I opted for a gorgeous pair of aviators which is the style, “Popular”. I love aviator sunglasses as they are such a classic style and work with so many outfits. This pair of sunnies retails for only $49 which includes the prescription lenses and the coatings! They are really well made, with sturdy frames, and come packaged in a hard case to keep your glasses protected no matter where you put them.

I paired these sunglasses with this gorgeous burnt orange top that I picked up on sale at Kmart, for would you believe, only $2! I love the soft, flowy style and it works perfectly as a maternity top! While aviators work with so many different outfits, I personally love to style them with floaty, boho pieces such as this top or a loose, relaxed dress. Otherwise I will pair them with a simple white tee and jeans for a classic 70’s style.

Now I have to be completely honest here and say that this was supposed to be a sponsored post with optically.co.nz. I had no problems with them in terms of them sending me the product, and it arrived fairly quickly and was exactly as described. The glasses are in my perfect prescription and I have no faults with the product itself.

The issue I did have however was with their appalling lack of communication afterwards. After digging a bit deeper, it seems that if there is an issue with optically.co.nz then they aren’t too happy to rectify it, so in all honesty, I wouldn’t recommend buying from these guys at all. While their glasses are cheap, the lack of aftercare is extremely poor, and if you were to have an issue with your glasses, I can’t imagine they would be much help.

So while it’s completely up to you, I personally wouldn’t recommend shopping at optically.co.nz!
