Mascara would have to be my hands-down favourite makeup item. As in, if I was stuck on a desert island and could only take a few items, mascara would definitely be a strong contender. I have super blonde eyelashes, so my eyes tend to fade away without mascara, so it’s a daily product for me.
This also means that over the years I’ve tried A LOT of different brands and types of mascara, and I’ve finally settled on one which I am really loving. It’s the Speak Volumes Mascara by Arbonne, and this was the first ever Arbonne product I’ve actually tried. Arbonne Mascara Review…
When it comes to mascara my non-negotiable are it must make my lashes look long, separated, and it must be the blackest black. The Arbonne Mascara ticks all of these boxes! This mascara is completely black and makes my lashes look dark and defined. It’s a really nice formula – not too wet and not too dry, and the end of the tube removes any excess mascara so you don’t have to worry about too much ending up on your lashes. The tapered brush also means it’s super easy to get those little corner lashes and your bottom lashes.
In terms of length, this mascara gives SO MUCH LENGTH! It literally makes my lashes look so much longer and nicely separated. It doesn’t have any issues with clumping or flaking either, thanks to the formula. I also haven’t had any issue with it smudging, however this isn’t a waterproof formula, so if you are planning to wear this to a wedding/funeral it might not be the best option for you.
At the end of the day, this mascara is also really easy to remove (I use my microfibre makeup remover) and there’s no issue with lashes coming out and no stinging of the eyes. Containing botanicals and peptides, this mascara is actually designed to help fortify your lashes, and my lashes have felt much longer and healthier since I’ve started using this mascara.
