Styling a Floral Wrap Dress from IKRUSH

Styling a Floral Wrap Dress from IKRUSH

The hottest dress this year is without a doubt the wrap dress. This style is universally flattering, working well on a number of different body types. It can also be dressed up or down, and it looks equally cute with heels or flats. It’s one of my favourite styles of dress, and as someone who is currently 8 months pregnant, I find the wrap style is flattering over a pregnant belly!

I recently came across the website IKRUSH, which is a British based clothing website that ships worldwide. They have a huge range of womens clothing and accessories and offer on-trend fashion at an affordable price. The shipping is super fast and my order was at my doorstep in about a week.

IKRUSH - Styling a wrap dress

As soon as I saw this dress on the IKRUSH website, I knew I had to have it. I love the midi length, the subtle ruffles, and the gorgeous polka dot and floral print. I also love the cold shoulder sleeve style, and I feel like it makes the dress look almost vintage. The dress is made from a light fabric that drapes beautifully over the body and also gives a lot of movement to the dress as you walk. It ties at the back (or side) with a fabric tie which helps to create a flattering shape. Make sure you read to the end of the post for size and fitting tips!

I paired this dress with this most gorgeous denim jacket. As you guys probably know, I LOVE denim jackets, and I love the distressed and sequin detail on this one as it just makes it feel so glam. The colour is that perfect washed out mid-blue and I love the distressing detail down the back and sides of the jacket. This is totally the kind of denim jacket you can pair with anything, and it would look super cute worn over jeans and a tee, or over a dress like how I’ve paired it here.

And finally I have to talk about this gorgeous bag. The horseshoe detail is giving me major Gucci Dionysus vibes, and I love the silver studded hardware on the bag. The chain strap is long enough to be worn crossbody, or doubled up to be worn over the shoulder or arm. It’s quite a structured bag, and I think it will hold it’s shape well. The flap closure makes it really easy to get in and out of, and there is plenty of space inside for all the essentials. It’s definitely a stand out piece, and looks much more designer than the $52 AUD price tag!

I’m really impressed with my shopping experience with IKRUSH. The clothing is all good quality, and fits well and they have a wide selection of items to choose from. If you are in the Northern Hemisphere then they currently have some stunning summer dresses, or if you are heading into winter, then take a look at these gorgeous knits.

Fit Tips: I have the midi dress in a size small and this would fit a NZ/AU size 8. The dress is a little larger through the bust area as I am quite small chested, but could easily be pinned for more modesty if desired. I am 5″3 (162cm) and the dress is the perfect midi length on me, hitting me just below the knee.

I have the denim jacket also in a size small and this is what I’d consider to be similar to a NZ/AU size 8.
