The Best of Antipodes Skincare

The Best of Antipodes Skincare

It’s no secret that I love the skincare brand Antipodes, and I’ve written about them multiple times on my blog over the years. While I’ve always had a few favourite products, I’ve recently been trying even more from this brand and I am yet to be disappointed.

Currently HealthPost is offering an amazing 3 for 2 deal on all Antipodes products, so I figured no better time than to share some of my faves! This is an awesome way to stock up on some favourites (like I will be!) or the perfect way try out a few products if you are new to the brand.

Today I wanted to share a few of the products that I’ve been using and loving lately. All of these I would 100% recommend if you have skin like mine – fairly normal but can get a little bit sensitive. Since Antipodes products are so gentle and contain all natural ingredients, they are the perfect skincare products for a huge range of skin types – even the most sensitive!

First up I love the Grace Cream Cleanser. This stuff is a deliciously thick cream cleanser that is insanely hydrating, yet doesn’t leave my skin oily. This cleanser contains Avocado Oil which is proving to be one of my favourite skincare ingredients due it being so hydrating and rich in nutrients. It also contains Vinanza Extract which helps to soothe skin and reduce redness, and Calendula Oil to improve the appearance and tone of the skin. I use this mainly at night as I find it removes any last traces of makeup I might have missed and it also leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft and ready for the next part of my skincare routine.

I’m also really loving the Hosanna H20 Intensive Skin-Plumping Serum. I’m generally not a huge fan of most serums as I find they can be a bit too oily on my skin. This one is a water based serum, meaning there is no oily residue left and the product practically absorbs straight into the skin! Using this product has really changed my opinion of serums, and has meant that I’m now including this important step in my routine. Containing Vinanza Grape to protect the skin and Mamaku Black Fern to help encourage cell renewal, this serum leaves my skin feeling hydrated and not at all greasy. I think this might be my favourite ever Antipodes product, so much so, I’ll often use this one both morning and night!

Next up is the Resurrect Clarifying Facial Toner. This is another item I never used to use in my routine until I tried this Antipodes Toner. I’ve never really noticed a lot of effect from other toners, and as a result I would never stick with just one for any amount of time. This is the first toner I’ve seen and felt effects from, making my skin tone look more even and my pores look smaller. This one is designed for oily skin, and while I don’t consider my skin oily (I think it’s pretty normal for the most part), I still find this product really effective and not too harsh on my skin. I’ve been using this one twice daily and I’ve noticed a massive improvement in my skin.

I’ve mentioned before how much I love the Healthy Lipsticks, so of course these had to be included. You can read all about these lipsticks and why I love them so much here. But in short, they are highly pigmented and made from completely natural ingredients that mean that they are literally safe enough to eat! My favourite shades are Dusky Sound Pink for a natural looking everyday shade, Oriental Bay Plum for a deep moody plum tone, and Queenstown Hot Chocolate for a my lips but better shade.

And finally we have the Halo Skin-Brightening Facial Mask which I’ve already raved about in my blog post all about my favourite face masks. This clay mask is absolutely amazing and pulls all the impurities out of my skin. It’s hands down the best clay mask I’ve used, and the fact it’s 100% natural makes it even better. I love this one for when my skin is feeling a bit congested or average, and I love that as well as being an effective mask, it also is a gentle exfoliator when removed. I’ve actually used my mask up and need to buy another one asap (hence it not being in the photo), but it’s such a favourite that I totally had to include it in this post!

What are your Antipodes must haves?
